Expressive Calendar: 2023
Just a glance
Calendars often become more than just a tool for remembering dates or promoting a business. Their role is not only to display months and days of the week, but to also be aesthetically pleasing and unique, so it’s more likely the audience will want it, and want to keep it displayed for the entire year or longer.
People are also on the lookout for beautiful and unique calendar designs, to display in their living spaces. There is a need of creatively designed poster calendars, wall calendars, and other unexpected, experimental formats.
My challenge for this project was to create an expressive, unique set of calendar posters that were inspired by the 1980s group, the "Pixies." Many of the posters presented are inspired by a select few songs from their first five albums.
